Sanad Qur’anic Certification Platform is a non-profit online platform for teaching the Qur’an and granting Qur’anic certification with a chain of narration traced back to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

Recitation takes place through recorded video sessions between the student and the reciter. A specialized scholarly supervision team reviews these sessions to ensure the quality and effectiveness of the learning process.

The education on Sanad Platform is paid. The proceeds from the platform’s programs are divided into salaries for the dedicated reciters and another portion directed towards sustaining and developing the platform.

Sanad Platform currently offers five programs:

  • Sanad Itqan Program: Aims to guide students through a complete recitation of the Qur’an from the Mushaf to enhance the student’s recitation proficiency.
  • Sanad Ijazah Program: Aims to guide students through a complete memorized recitation of the Qur’an with the highest level of proficiency, intending to grant them certification with a chain of narration traced back to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). This program is under development and will be launched soon, God willing.
  • Sanad Curriculum Program: A supplementary program to the previous ones, offering a comprehensive theoretical syllabus on Tajweed, based on self-learning, to achieve mastery in theoretical Tajweed.
  • Sanad for Institutions Program: Allows schools, institutes, and educational centers to benefit from Sanad Platform’s programs by enrolling their students and accessing services through a special portal with a control panel to oversee their progress and extract necessary reports.
  • Sanad Khair Program: Enables charitable associations and institutions to sponsor students or reciters on Sanad Platform, either partially or fully.

The platform is overseen by a scholarly council of experts in Qur’anic recitation and teaching, led by the former head of the Egyptian General Assembly of Reciters, the esteemed Dr. Ahmed Isa Al-Ma’sarawi (may Allah preserve him).

The platform is served by a group of qualified reciters, both male and female, who are experienced and proficient in teaching and reciting the Qur’an.

The Sanad platform provides reading of the Holy Qur’an in any of the seven recitations from the Shatibiya route, and the three recitations from the Durra route, and the matter varies from one program to another.

Currently, Sanad Platform supports only Arabic, but it aims to support 10 of the world’s most widely spoken languages in the future.
