About Sanad

Word from the Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors

A. Bahjat Hamdan

In recent years, the world has undergone tremendous changes in the education sector, and there has been an urgent need to create new paths that contribute to the development of the educational process. In light of this transformation, we noticed a clear gap in platforms specialized in reciting the Qur’an and granting Qur’anic licenses. Hence, our idea was born to launch a global non-profit Qur’anic project that combines the authenticity and sanctity of the content with the spirit of the modern era.

We began our journey with passion and love, and gathered experts from various fields, to make the “Sanad” platform a leading beacon in teaching Qur’an recitation remotely, where our goal is to be a reliable reference for anyone seeking to obtain a Qur’anic license, wherever they are in the world.

We did not stop there, but rather expanded the scope of our message to reach the world in more than 10 languages, to serve nearly two billion Muslims, and we set before our eyes a clear vision represented in “facilitating learning and teaching the recitation of the Holy Qur’an from anywhere and at any time.”

We have worked hard to provide an educational experience worthy of the greatness of the Quran. We have developed a platform that serves individuals and institutions, and built a solid interactive curriculum in which we were keen to achieve the highest quality standards through an integrated institutional system to control outputs and follow up on all stages of recitation.

The horizons of work are still wide before us, and our ambition is limitless. We work hard to advance and provide everything possible to serve the Quran and its people, seeking success from Allah in every step we take.

Why Sanad?

Strengthening efforts to meet the needs of Muslims in light of the increasing demand for learning to recite the Holy Quran

The need for institutional work to teach the recitation of the Holy Quran that ensures sustainability, dissemination, governance and control of outputs

The lack of specialized software for teaching the recitation of the Holy Quran that provides an integrated system for managing the recitation process

Difficulty in accessing skilled and licensed reciters and the great need for effort, money and time to continue reading

Vision

The leading global platform for teaching Quran recitation
